Day 1

After we pick everyone up, we'll begin our East Coast journey! We'll stop at The Big Apple in Colborne for lunch on your own and then we'll continue our journey east. We'll stop in Ottawa, our Nation's Capital, where we will meet our step-on guide for a guided tour of the city - with its beautiful architecture and many prominent Canadian landmarks. In the evening, we'll check into the Holiday Inn Express in Gatineau, followed by dinner at Buffet des Continents.

D

Day 2

Following breakfast at our hotel, we depart Gatineau for Trois Rivieres for lunch and time on your own. There are plenty of restaurants with a patio or a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River. We'll make our way to Quebec City where we will meet another step-on guide for a guided tour of the city. Take in the stunning architecture and cobblestone streets - lined with bistros and boutiques. We'll check into our hotel for the night - Hotel Plaza Quebec, and then you'll have dinner on your own (possibly at one of those bistros?).

B

Day 3

We'll enjoy a breakfast at our hotel, and then we'll say goodbye to Quebec and begin our journey to New Brunswick. We'll stop in Edmundston for lunch on your own and then we'll make our way to St. John! We'll stay the night at Chateau St. John where we'll have time to explore and dinner is on your own.

B

Day 4

After starting our day with breakfast at our hotel, we'll depart for Reversing Falls. Make sure to bring your camera because this is a unique phenomenon created by the collision of the Bay of Fundy and the Saint John River. Following lunch on your own in Amherst, we'll meet (another!) step-on guide to show us beautiful Halifax City. Our guide will then take us to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic where you can even take a seat in a replica Titanic deck chair or take a front row seat to history from small craft boatbuilding to World War Convoys - you'll discover what defines Nova Scotia. You'll have free time for exploring and dinner on your own and we'll check into our hotel for the next 3 nights - the Hampton Inn & Suites. Can't decide what to do? Ask your tour guide!

B

Day 5

After breakfast at our hotel this morning, we'll head to Peggy's Cove for free time to explore. Located on the eastern shore of St. Margaret's Bay - you'll find the site of the gorgeous Peggy's Cove Lighthouse. Enjoy the views, visit the shops or explore the lighthouse - the choice is yours! You'll have the rest of the day in Halifax for lunch and dinner on your own. Our hotel is conveniently located to a few shopping malls, restaurants, galleries, and a few blocks away is the Halifax Boardwalk - take a stop by the Canada sign and take a picture!

B

Day 6

Once again you'll enjoy breakfast at the hotel but today is a completely free day. Meaning our driver is officially off the clock for some much needed rest (he'll be back at work tomorrow!). Bring your bathing suit or workout gear as our hotel has an indoor pool and fitness center.
We are mandated by law to give the driver 24 hours of off-duty and non-driving time. This cannot be changed or moved. Please contact the office if you have any issues or concerns.

We depart and enjoy dinner in Sydney, where we will check into the Comfort Inn for a 2- night stay.

B

Day 7

Before we say goodbye to Halifax, we'll enjoy our last breakfast at our hotel. We'll travel to St. Peter's, Nova Scotia where we'll enjoy lunch at Louie's Cosy Corner. After, we'll have a guided tour of the Fortress of Louisbourgh National Historic Site. The Fortress will bring you back to French colonial life between 1713 and 1758. Take in the looing fortifications, kitchen gardens and wander the original 18th century ruins for a full experience of the past come to life! Dinner will be on your own in Membertou before we head to our hotel for the next two nights in Sydney (The Simon Hotel Sydney).

B, L

Day 8

We'll enjoy breakfast at our hotel before we head out on our next adventure. Today we'll enjoy a guided tour of Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail. Make sure you bring your camera and comfortable walking shoes as some walking may be required. We'll drive the coastal region and stop at lookouts with panoramic views. Lunch is on your own in Cape Breton. We'll say goodbye and head back to Sydney where dinner will be on your own.

B

Day 9

After breakfast at our hotel, we are once again on the move! We'll head to New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island. You'll have free time to enjoy lunch on your own (and possibly explore Avonlea Village?) before we make our way to Charlottetown! The capital of PEI, Charlottetown is on the southern coast of the province (Anne of Green Gables, anyone?). You'll have free time to explore Charlottetown before we head to dinner at Lobster on the Wharf Restaurant! We'll then head to our hotel, The Loyalist, in Summerside, where we'll stay for the next two nights.

B, D

Day 10

Did someone say Anne of Green Gables? After breakfast, we'll head to the Anne of Green Gables Museum in Park Corner, PEI. We'll tour the museum, enjoy a carriage ride, have tea with the Campbell's and partake in potato planting! We'll then head to the Green Gables Heritage Place in Cavendish for a guided tour. After our morning adventures, we'll head to Cavendish Beach in New Glasgow for lunch on your own and a little rest and relaxation (or wander to your hearts content!). After dinner on your own in Summerside, we'll head back to our hotel.

B

Day 11

After breakfast at our hotel, we say goodbye to PEI and head back into New Brunswick. We'll first enjoy some free time and lunch on our own in Moncton. We'll head to Hopewell Cape where we'll have a guided tour of Hopewell Rocks - a true wonder of the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides. The tide can rise as high as 16 meters, allowing visitors to paddle among the giant sea stacks sculpted by the power of the bay over thousands of years. Six hours later the tide will have receded completely and you can step right onto the ocean floor (prepare to get a little muddy)! We'll make our way to Fredericton where we'll check into our hotel (Holiday Inn Express Fredericton) and then we'll be free to explore and have dinner on our own.

B

Day 12

Breakfast is once again included at our hotel, and then we say farewell to New Brunswick and head to Riviere du Loup in Quebec for free time and lunch on your own. We'll check into our hotel for the night, the Best Western Brossard, where you can then do as you wish. Dinner is on your own but fear not - we'll drop you off at Mall Champlain in Brossard. Of course, we will also have a list of alternative suggestions for you!

B

Day 13

Today we head home, but not before enjoying our last included breakfast at our hotel. We'll make our way to Montreal where we will be joined by our final step-on guide to give us a tour of all things Montreal. After we'll head to Kingston for lunch on your own (don't forget to stretch those legs) before we make our journey home!
