Join us for a trip to Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. A trip to Mackinac Island is a journey to the best part of the past. Step off the ferry and you are immersed in a new world. Limited to transportation of horse and buggy, bicycle or foot, surrounded by unforgettable sunsets and awe-inspiring sunrises. It is truly the Jewel of the Great Lakes!

Includes: motorcoach transportation, 3 nights accommodation, daily breakfast, 3 dinners, 2 lunches (1 at the Grand Hotel), round trip ferry service to Mackinac Island, carriage tour of Mackinac Island, guided tour of Mackinaw City, shopping in Frankenmuth, luggage handling.

Day 1

After an early departure, we head west to cross into the United States, then north through Michigan and on to Mackinaw City for our next three nights accommodation. Our hotel is a beachfront property on the beautiful Lake Huron, and has an indoor heated pool and hot tub. After check in there will be time to freshen up and explore your surroundings prior to our dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will board a ferry for the trip to Mackinac Island. Our visit to the island begins with a horse drawn carriage "taxi" ride from the ferry. Motor vehicles are not permitted to intrude on the natural beauty of Mackinac Island. There will be free time to explore downtown Mackinac Island. We included an absolute must when visiting the island; the legendary pleasure of dining at the Grand Hotel. We will finish our time on the island with a horse drawn carriage tour. A beautiful and unique way to explore this historic isle and it's legendary points of interest. You end the day by taking the ferry back to Mackinaw City where we will enjoy dinner.

Day 3

This morning we include a guided tour of Mackinaw City, followed by lunch. After lunch we will travel to Petoskey's historic Gaslight District for free time to browse & shop. We finish off the day with a delicious dinner.

Day 4

After breakfast, we depart for home with a stop at Frankenmuth & Duty Free for some last minute shopping.
