Book NowOttawa is the capital city of Canada. Sitting on the Ottawa River, it has at its centre Parliament Hill, with grand Victorian architecture and museums. The park-lined Rideau Canal is filled with boats in summer and ice-skaters in winter.
Includes: motorcoach transportation, 3 nights accommodation, daily breakfast, 2 dinners, Ottawa city tour, Royal Canadian Mint tour, admission and tour of the Canadian Museum of History, Rideau canal boat cruise, luggage handling.
Day 1
Today we travel directly to Ottawa with appropriate stops en route. While in Ottawa, we stay at the Lord Elgin, ideally located within walking distance to Sparks Street, the Parliament buildings, restaurants and shopping. Upon arrival, we will enjoy dinner at our hotel.
DDay 2
We start the day with a guided tour of Ottawa, highlighting some of Ottawa's major attractions. Following the tour, you will have time on your own for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the Canadian Museum of History, gorgeous architecture and world-renowned exhibitions convene to create Canada's most visited museum. Following our guided tour at the museum, you will have additional time to explore on your own. After this visit, we will go for dinner in Gatineau, Quebec.
BDay 3
The day will start with a tour of the Royal Canadian Mint where you will learn about the fascinating process of making coins. After our tour, you will have free time for lunch at one of the delightful restaurants or cafes in the historic ByWard Market. In the afternoon, we will take a cruise on an electric boat through the Rideau Canal. This 202 km long canal links Lake Ontario and the Cataraqui River. You will have the evening to explore the city on your own.

After breakfast, we depart for home. Stops will be made en route.
